Cingel makes it eleven

Martin Cingel makes it eleven seasons with the Edinburgh Capitals as he puts pen to paper for the 2013/14 season. Cingel served nine straight seasons for the Capitals before taking a year out in Manchester and then returned again last season to make it ten.

Cingel is a popular player and off the ice and has always been a fans favourite. This is going to be a special year for Martin and will give the fans a chance to show their gratitude and thanks to a long serving player and Captain.

Martin Cingel commented, "I am looking forward to next season and hope we can continue to progress like we did over the last one. We played some great attractive hockey and worked well in our systems."

Richard Hartmann said, "Martin is a great leader and captain and our team spirit last year was fantastic. As Captain martin had a big role to play off and on the ice and I look forward to having another key player back who brings us experience, points and leadership."

Scott Neil said, "Cingy has been a tremendous servant to the club both as a player and ambassador and he has rightly gained respect from everybody in the Edinburgh community. This year we will plan to provide some events to thank Martin for his services to the club."
