Edinburgh Capitals have secured the return of Martin Cingel for the 2012/13 season. The popular forward has agreed to join the club for a 10th season and his corporate sponsor Breken Inns have stepped in to support Martin and the club in bringing ‘Cingy’ back to Edinburgh.
Richard Hartmann said, "Martin is a very popular player not only with the fans but also the players in Edinburgh and I am happy to bring Martin back to the club and I believe he can play a strong role both offensively and defensively for the team. He can bring a lot to the club, not just on the ice, but off it too, and I thank Breken Inns for helping to make this happen."
Scott Neil said, "Cingy has been a very popular player over the years and has made Edinburgh his home for his wife and family after arriving to play for the Caps 10 years ago. He has made many friends in the city and has earned a lot of respect from the fan base and sponsors over the years. With the help of Breken Inns, who have to take a lot of credit for making this happen we have secured a player who has made Edinburgh his home, has been a great servant and Captain to the club, is still a quality player and most importantly wants to wear the Capitals shirt."
