Danny makes his mark

Danny McIntyre makes a welcome return as he signs for the Edinburgh Capitals. “McIntyre is a player who can play forward or defence when required so this will make him a great utility player,” said player coach Richard Hartmann.

Richer Hartmann continued, “Danny’s signing provides a lot of options going forward and he is a solid player that is getting better every season and he was a key British player for the club.

Danny McIntyre said, "I am looking forward to the new season playing for the Capitals. I currently work as a personal trainer and this has helped me greatly over the year and is helping me prepare for the season ahead.

Scott Neil, commented, "Danny has developed into a strong reliable player. He has clearly developed his own strength and conditioning over the last year and his position as a personal trainer has helped him focus on developing this area. Danny will also be taking up a new responsibility with the club and will act as a strength and conditioning coach for our younger up and coming players in the Scottish National League team.
