Happy New Year

I want to thank all of the volunteers who made the Great Capital Skate the largest crowd we have had in the Elite League. The crowd was loud and into the game.

I have said it before but it deserves mention again; the people who help our organization giving their time and effort are what keep this team going. Everyone involved with the club appreciates the work they do.

Of course it is great to go into the New Year in a play-off position. However, this group is more aware than any other that it is a long year and nothing should be taken for granted. Last season, we were 7 points out of a play-off spot on January 1 and we made it. We will not let up. In fact, the guys will be pushing hard to not just make the play-offs but to move up in the table and make it to Nottingham.
