Basingstoke/Belfast

Last night we won, but it did not feel like a win. I was very disappointed that we gave up a point. Especially, when we were up 4-2. However, Martin Cingel's goal, was extremely important to keep alive our playoff hopes. We do need help. We need other teams to beat the Bison. Now it is a matter of us focusing on our task at hand and not worry about what happens south of the border.

This weekend we have a huge rivalry game against Newcastle. Every game is crucial for us now. We must find a way to get 2 points. We have for the last 2 months, consistently picked up points every weekend. We need to start getting maximum points and what better time to start than against our bitter rival Newcastle.

Games against Newcastle are always very intense and I am sure this one will not be any different. I am looking forward to hearing you all on Sunday.

I am off to the Q&A with the Supporters Club. I am looking forward to seeing many of you there! I hope that this meeting helps shed some light on the questions that you may have as fans.

Doug
